NOT THE BEST SELECTION
I HAVE BEEN A FAN OF GEORGE WINSTON'S PIANO MUSIC FOR YEARS AND WAS THRILLED WHEN THIS BOOK CAME OUT. HOWEVER, I WAS DISSAPOINTED WITH THE SONG SELECTION. WHERE IS "VENICE DREAMER PART 2" AND HIS PIANO ARRANGEMENTS OF THE "DOORS" MUSIC? HOPEFULLY, THERE WILL BE MORE GEORGE WINSTON PIANO...

As Someone Who Teaches New Age Piano...
As someone who actually teaches people how to play in this style, I think this is an excellent collection of G. Winston pieces. The publisher must have simplified the notation from the actual performance pieces to make it easier for others to play. -- Edward

An Embarrassment to Hal Leonard
George Winston is pretty music. The notes are not so hard and most of the effect is in the dynamics and touch. I can't believe a human being tried these arrangements before HL sent this collection to press. There are so many mistakes and weird notations it reads like an...

many mistakes in notation
I transcribed Thanksgiving a couple of years ago right off the CD, for my own personal enjoyment, and when I got the book I couldn't believe the mistakes! There is even a sharp missing (D#) in one measure and in other places just simply the wrong note is written. If...
