Fantastic to read the sheet music of this ground-breaking Miles Davis/Mulligan session. The score includes the parts of each instrument, therefore the album is not meant for solo pianists. But anyone who wants to really enjoy the Birth Of The Cool pieces, or wants to get better acquainted with them,...

This was better than I had expected it could ever be. Beautifully typeset, it has all the parts on individual staves, and the original solos from the recording in cue-note sized notes. As if that wasn't enough, "Joost at the Roost" is also included, which was not issued on disc....
