good fun

I've performed this piece in costume: the soloists in ball gowns & tiaras, the pianist (a woman) in tails...at an upright piano, no less. It's pretty tongue-in-cheek virtuostic in nature, grand flourishes and everything, very over-the-top. I bought this edition because of the editors; what I own is a Xerox of an old out-of-print edition with (gasp) mistakes! The page turns in this newer one aren't terrific.
