Composed by James Miller. Arranged by Curtis Hanson. Folk. Octavo. 5 pages. Curtis Hanson #3364855. Published by Curtis Hanson (A0.719701).

This well-known Scottish melody with text by Robert Burns is here set for SATB voices and piano. It is most appropriate for a young four-part ensemble. Ranges are not extreme and harmonies are straight-forward. Voices are fully supported by the accompaniment. The only challenge occurs in the second verse as the treble voices continue with the "Banks and Braes" melody, but the bass and tenor juxtapose the melody of another well-known Scottish tune, "Loch Lomond". Alternate contemporary words for the original Scottish dialect are provided.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
