    Excellent Chart for Developing Jazz Ensembles

    This Grade 4 arrangement of 'Won't You Be My Neighbor?' is a fantastic teaching tool. The samba feel is engaging, and the clear engraving ensures readability for students.     A Delightful & Playable Jazz Samba Take!

    I absolutely loved getting to play this iconic Fred Rogers tune in such a cool, laid-back samba style. It's listed as Grade 4, which is a good challenge for a dedicated adult learner like me, but totally achievable with a bit of practice. It feels so good to play with a group, and the arrangement by Mike Tomaro makes it sound sophisticated and fun. Highly recommend for enjoyment!

    Expertly Arranged, Great for Ensemble Balance

    While an instrumental chart, the ensemble balance and texture in this Grade 4 jazz samba arrangement are superb. The piano and rhythm section parts provide a solid, sophisticated foundation without overshadowing. Mike Tomaro clearly understands how to layer instruments to create a cohesive sound. This piece would certainly help develop ensemble players' listening skills and harmonic awareness, supporting any lead voices beautifully.

    Surprise surprise!

    This is a really interesting arrangement. My adult band skoffed when I handed it out, but they were not laughing at the end! The Loved it! the chart needs a good trombone section. There is a blowing section for lead trombone.
