Wildwood is an original song for 4 voices.  It has a medium swing tempo and rich jazzy harmonies.  It can be sung SSAA or SSAT.  The difficulty level is early advanced. There are syncopated rhythms and complex harmonies.  The Alto 2 part is a focal point in that it has a very fun bass line, which is nice since many alto 2 parts are not that fun!  (that part can also be sung by tenor).  The unusual text is a rather dark love song that can be taken in a romantic sense, or in more of a nature/cosmic sense.  Words and music by Joyce Todd McBride.
