This "narrative Madrigal" tells the story of one of Robin Hood's comrades who takes revenge on the corrupt officials in the land by hunting them down. Not graphic but rather lyrically poetic about his vengeance, this will not offend anyone with its language or content. The music is delightfully...

accessible polyphony -- a great "first piece" to entice young singers. Not too difficult or rangey, but complex and catchy enough for the singers and the audience members to REALLY LOVE IT. I sang it in high school where it was a huge favorite with all, and I sing it now with voice students (for breath support, line, and timbral uniformity). I can't recommend it highly enough. If you have never heard it, you owe it to yourself, your singers, and your audience members to check it out!
