    Our local high school performed this and, whether by their own skill or the musical literature, this song was a hit. This is an amazing song that pleased critics along with the crowd. Definately a "Must-Try"!

    It should be criminal that this editor blasphemes Robert Shaw and Alice Parker's arrangement of this stiring sea shanty. Just looking at the first page in the preview, one immeidately notices the rythmic irregularities starting in the 9th measure!! It is not, "Way-hay and up she rises" It...

    is simply "way-hay up she rises." If you are looking to perform the true rendition, I would try contacting Shirmer to see if they still print the original. This is a poor rip off!!!
