By Louis Armstrong With Kenny G. By Bob Thiele and George David Weiss. Arranged by Nick Raspa. Jazz,Standards. Score. 20 pages. NJR Music #3450845. Published by NJR Music (A0.754353).

This is an advanced arrangement of the ballad "What A Wonderful World" for 1 piano 4 hands.  The ballad, made famous by Louis Armstrong, starts softly with an introduction in the upper range of the piano, and then cascades down to begin the song proper.  The harmonies are full, lush chords with a moving 8th note bass pattern which continues throughout the arrangement.  There are lots of fills with turns, etc. in both the primo and secundo part throughout the work.

The second section has a beautiful moving 16th note pattern in the secundo part which adds a wonderful contrast to the earlier section.  Both players will find the piece wonderfully exciting to play. Contents include full score & individual parts.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
