Here is a festive trio arrangement (for VIOLIN and CELLO duet with PIANO accompaniment) of the popular English carol "We Wish You a Merry Christmas." The CELLO leads with the melody for the first chorus, followed by the VIOLIN on the melody for the first verse. The PIANO gets a short, 4-measure turn at the melody before passing the melody back to the VIOLIN for the remainder of the song.

This arrangement begins with the PIANO playing mellow broken chords, then for the second verse, the PIANO adds a bit of syncopation creating a fuller, upbeat sound for the remainder of the piece. This quick-paced and bright arrangement will be a valuable addition to your holiday repertoire.

All notes for both the VIOLIN and CELLO are playable in the first position making this arrangement an excellent choice for early-intermediate string players. The PIANO accompaniment is written for an intermediate player.
