Written by Dimitri Shostakovich in 1938 for orchestra. Here is my arrangement for two pianos. This composer is an embodiment of the struggles of government power and living as a musician. He has written many amazing pieces and this is definitely one of them. Swapping the rhythmic chordal side and melody between pianos I myself along with a fellow composer who has made editions, have designed this for dance occasions, showing off, having fun and have incorporated various new sections and melodies to link parts together with a new ending. .
