A fun and exciting arrangement for solo cello of Avicii's hit song, 'Wake Me Up!'. Perfect for weddings and other celebrations. This arrangements begins with a short extract from Bach's Prelude from the first cello suite in G major, which slowly morphs into Wake Me Up. This introduction can be cut entirely if desired. 

All of Emma's arrangements find creative and artistic ways to re-present original songs in a way that suits the new instruments and ensemble whilst maintaining the integrity of the original piece. Her aim is to go far beyond a simple copying of the melody and harmony, but to create an arrangement that sounds as if the piece was always meant for these new instruments.

Emma Butterworth is a composer for film and TV and also a successful Suzuki cello teacher. She has an intimate knowledge of how to write for strings, and has written and arranged a vast number of pieces for cellos and strings especially. All pieces have been played and performed.
