  • June 04, 2007 Good for beginners, if you can read the notation.

    This volume has pieces for Beginner - Intermediate levels. The pieces are organized by difficulty level (easiest to more advanced) with 3-4 pieces for each level. I found the notation tough to understand. There is a paragraph explaining the notation, but since the pieces are written for all instruments, it...

    's extremely confusing (at least for a beginner, like myself). Also, it would be good if the accompanying CD had recordings of what each instrument's part is supposed to sound like. That way, it would be easy to check yourself. Other than that, it's a good buy with some fun pieces!
