A specially priced Live documentation of Vital Inormation's Indie Award winning CD ''Where We Come From''. This double CD also features two studio bonus tracks plus some Vital Information favorites like Over and Out, Europa, and The Perfect Date. Although Vital Information still favors the combination of jazz with driving elements, their last album "Where We Come From" sounded quite different from their style back then. There was clearly less of the 'typical' fusion idiom and more tight grooves with straight-on jazz superstructures. in the summer of '98, Vital Informationwent on World Tour with their new repertoire to spread the happy message of their return to the roots personally around the globe. And as we now know, their message was well received. "Live Around The World" is the documentation of this vehement concert trip; a live double-album which shows the ''new'' Vital Information from their best side.
