In this arrangement, I have tried to hold it to the intermediate level while at the same time maintaining all of the colors and rhythms of the original. Particularly the melody and its balance to the accompanying parts. About the only thing an intermediate student would need to review are the inversions of white key triads in the left hand. I have lowered the key to C Major to make the reading a bit less obtuse. I think if you listen to the audio sample you will hear that it is a full-bodied arrangement even though it’s simpler technically. I hope you enjoyed playing it. Status: Age 65 returning to the piano (a Yamaha full keyboard) after a 30 years total absence. I had a couple of years of early childhood lessons and the rest of my progress was obtained just playing for my own enjoyment. I love this arrangement for my skill level and I'm looking forward to surprising my husband with it when I perfect it. Even with later in life corrected vision, I'm finding it challenging to return to my younger level of hand/eye coordination. This simplified arrangement is not so simplified that it's boring and yet I feel it's completely doable and impressive sounding enough to motivate me to practice it. So glad I found it.
