After years of Baermann 3 as warm-up, my teacher switched me to Vade-Mecum. The exercises are challenging but really work all the fingers. You are relaxed and ready to perform after executing these. Truly masterful (and never boring).

Jeanjean's finest offering for the advanced clarinetist: a daily exercise workout in special sections targeting the left and right hands, a summary of scales and exercises, detached articulation, a highly expressive (even Wagnerian!) etude, and more. One the individual sections are mastered, the entire book can be played through...

in a 40 minute period as an ideal daily maintenance study for the pro player. (Margaret Thornhill, as published in British Clarinet and Saxophone; all rights reserved.)

This is a great warm-up exercise! As a side benefit, it helped me with my breathing. The only drawback is that, unless you know fluent French, there is no English translation. However, if you google "Vade Mecum Du Clarinettiste," you can find links to English translations of the French...

I got introduced to this "bible" of excercises in high school. I am now a working musician and teacher, and I still use this book almost every day. I introduce this book to my students as early as 8th grade. It holds everything, long tones, fingers, staccato, soft-high, flutter...

,scales, you name it. I use this together with a scale book.
