Composed by Nigel Williams. 20th Century,Holiday,Sacred. Octavo. 3 pages. Nigel Williams #2082219. Published by Nigel Williams (A0.763235).

Praised for the simplicity of its structure and musical appeal, this musical setting of the opening verse of psalm 25 (Unto Thee O Lord do I lift up my soul) is regularly performed in the USA, UK, Australia and New Zealand. (Note the digital audio clip starts at page 2 and shows the upward moving musical texture in both voices and organ). The text is well suited across all denominations either as an introit, offertory or communion anthem. The music is easy to moderate in difficulty and the upward moving organ accompaniment is independent of the imitative choral parts. There is some soprano division. This music is well suited to senior high school, college and church choirs.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
