Until Tomorrow is an exciting piece for solo piano, composed by then piano student Alex Harvey.
At the time, Alex was totally immersed in the music of Green Day (21 Guns, Boulevard of Broken Dreams) and Linkin Park (In The End, Leave Out All the Rest, What I've Done). This composition is Alex's creation based on these super-strong influences. He loved playing this piece, and I loved hearing it!
In the following years, I offered this piece to all my elementary piano students, and they loved it too, even requesting to play it for their annual spring piano recital. (It's easy to find these recital performance videos on youtube.)
If you have a student who (like Alex) has been interested in the music of Green Day, Linkin Park, Coldplay (The Scientist, Viva La Vida, Paradise, Clocks), and more recently Imagine Dragons' Radioactive, then I strongly recommend this piece.
It is impressive sounding, exciting and dramatic to hear, and fun to play!
