Two Festive Pieces for Organ
By Neil Harmon
Organ - Intermediate
Composed by Neil Harmon. Non Hymn-Based. Published by MorningStar Music Publishers (MN.10-612).
Item Number: MN.10-612
Two original pieces that strike a wonderful balance between contrapuntal craftsmanship and audience appeal.
The "Jig in a minor" is built on a theme derived from the name Longhurst, and composed to honor Dr. John Longhurst on the occasion of his retirement as Senior Organist for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
The "Toccata Breve" is inspired by the French Romantic School and can be mastered by the intermediate organist.
