If you're attracted to contemporary American piano music, you should take a look at this score. The individual preludes are of short duration (so, you may learn one quickly); however, they were composed specifically to be played in whatever grouping you like (so, you may put together a program...

of several / all played together). Some are more technically challenging than others, but all are definitely worth the effort. Incidentally, there's plenty of quite beautiful music here.

these preludes were written for John Browning in the 60's- 70s. they are filled with joyful tunes and sorrowful songs. some of them can be hard because the meters change so much, but most of them are only 1-2 pages long.
