This arrangement of one of Bill Evans' most famous and haunting ballads is the first in a series of Evans' compositions currently being written by trombonist/arranger Curt Berg. The melody/lead is split between two players, and the jazz may be shared in desired. The arrangements employs mixed meters at beginning and end, and requires a rhy section with very good reading ability. The first & second parts will require a strong high register.
