'Tum Hi Ho', translated as 'You are the one', is recognised as one of the best songs ever produced in Bollywood.  It remained in the top 10 of Planet Bollywood for eight weeks and captured No 1 spot on the Top 20 of MTV India for seven weeks. Within ten days of its release 'Tom Hi Ho' had almost 5 million views of YouTube and has gone on to be viewed 204 million times.    


Set in early 2010, Aashiqui 2 is a love story centering on the turbulent relationship between musicians Rahul and Arohi, a relationship which is affected by Rahul's issues with alcohol abuse and temperament.   The film's storyline is based on the Hollywood musical 'A Star is Born' released in 1954 and 1976.  Aashiqui 2 premierd on 26th April 2013 and became a commercial success taking US$15 million in it's first month.
