The arrangement is set in the key of D Major and, preserving the composer's original lush harmonies, features a Viola soloist playing the familiar tune with the full string orchestra for support. The soloist plays the verses and the violins respond in the refrain.
This will also make a wonderful opportunity for teaching the dotted eighth/sixteenth rhythm which recurs throughout the piece. The only instrument required to play in third position are the first violins. There is also an MP3 backing track. available separately, which is the string orchestra without the soloist.
