By Rod Stewart. By Thomas Alan Waits and Tom Waits. Arranged by Sylvina Tilbury. Rock. Score. 10 pages. Sylvina Tilbury #4614971. Published by Sylvina Tilbury (A0.817423).

As the alternative title indicates, this song incorporates parts of the Australian folk song "Waltzing Matilda". The song is one of Tom Waits' signature works and has been covered by artists including Rod Stewart. For this arrangement I was asked to faithfully recreate the original Waits recording as a piano accompaniment score.

The arrangement is intermediate level including clef changes as the right hand moves in and out of the lower middle register. Extracts of the original "Waltzing Matilda" melody can also be found in the piano score, referencing the string parts on the recording.

The vocal line and lyrics are provided for reference.
