  • February 15, 2007 I heard Gillian Weir play this so I had to buy it

A great finale piece (in fact used for the finale of the opening recital of the first decent new organ built in Cardiff for 80 years); I heard it once and bought the music! I haven't had the chance to learn it properly yet as I received the music...

the day before I left my job as a crematorium organist, and have only just acquired a practice organ, but I'm looking forward to this challenge, although this is significantly easier than the Bach Trio Sonatas which took me almost a year to learn. My father commented that there seemed to be an awful lot of notes, but the end result is definitely worth the effort in that great French Organ Toccata genre.
