Organ and handbell offerings abound for the major seasons of the church year. However, specific titles appropriate for some of the less frequently occurring solemn and celebratory events in the life of the church such as All Saints' Day, Thanksgiving and Trinity Sunday, can be a bit more difficult to find. In an effort to help fill this gap, Doug Wagner has compiled a highly musical collection of six works based on familiar hymn tunes, scored for organ and handbells (with compatible parts for 2-3 and 4-5 octave ensembles). Since some of the hymns associated with these tunes speak to multiple applications, single titles may well be used effectively in several worship settings.
