This entire Fiddler series is superlative, but this is a particular favorite of mine. There are chord markings for rhythm, a full accompaniment part for a second violin and an easy harmony part so you can invite all your friends in on the fun (as is the case for all the volumes in the series). This volume includes classic standards of tango....the arrangements are simple without being facile. We just used it for an outdoor festival and drew an impressive audience. There's nothing like cabaret music to warm up a crowd, and this fit the bill!

I agree with the previous reviewer. Very playable, violinistic writing. Sophisticated yet uncomplicated arrangements.
