    great book.I wish there are full performance CD'savailable for all the music in this book. I am sure it has to be multiple CD's for accompaniment/ with full performance section.

    Glad to have this anthology, but I must say I can do with less Harry Burleigh spiritual arrangements. I was hoping there would be more of a variety of songs that are hard to find these days. I am a church soloist and as such, I'm always looking for...

    more ideas for appropriate pieces.

    What I love about this book is that it has a wide variety of song selections. I go to a very "formal" church but also work at a "gospel" like church. These songs helped me a lot. I could use the more classical songs for my home church and the...

    If you are a solo singer in a sacred setting this book is a must have. It's a wonderful collection of many of the pieces that are commonly used as a part of services and are favorites of many an attendee.
