I remembered performing that musical when I was in 4th grade at Geggie Elementary School from Eureka, MO (St. Louis, MO) in February 1999. It was a fun musical. I drew a "Wanted" picture of the runaway Snowman, the director of the play loved it and posted it on the...

bull item board with the photos of the play. My dear friend of mine plays the Snowman. This play touches the hearts of those that almost got what they desired but melt away. The conclusion of the play represents exceptance to move on, and as Elsa from "Frozen" would say, "Let it go." I find this musical one of the best ever written, including memorable songs like "Make You a Star," "Deep Freeze," "We're Gonna Find Him," and "Give a Little Love Each Day." I ighly recommend this musical to any director that wishes to touch audiences' hearts.

It's a great, fun musical that I directed 23 years ago in St. Louis, Mo., with 5th graders and a few others at different grade levels. It received rousing cheers. I am thinking of doing it again this year, 2010, with 5th graders here in San Diego, California.
