Solo instrumental obbligato parts, which can be cut from the book, are included on appropriate selections.

    Great music, awful type setting. The words are tiny and far from the notes. The measures are too spread out, necessitating huge amounts of page turns.

    This is a very good book for those who love the sacred classics in their original language. Unlike other books that have the usual standards, many of the pieces here are the works of the Great Masters, Bach, Handel, etc. and some of the works are from the pre Baroque...

    period. There is also at least one piece suited for the Coloratura Soprano. All in all I recommend this book.

    This is a very good collection for the Oratorio singer or any Soprano who is called upon to sing solos. I'm sure there will be someone who finds some selection missing but it has worked for my purposes. I've already used this book.
