Written specifically for beginning students, "The King's Minstrel" is an imaginative solo that is written in a Celtic style. It can be played on any size harp, including lap harps with a range of two octaves.
It is in 3/4, the key of C, and it uses quarter notes, half notes, and dotted half notes, played with fingers 1, 2, and 3. The range of the piece is from 4th octave C (Middle C) to 2nd octave C.
