This book earns its title; I didn't know a single piece in this collection. I totally enjoyed playing through some of the selections. Most of them were challenging enough that I could not sight read them on a first reading. I would recommend that teachers use this book in...

conjunction with a collection of well-known pieces to provide a balance in the student's repertoire. But for teachers looking for something fresh and different, this volume is a perfect choice.
