Great collection of music from the period however a cd is needed to demonstrate some of the original songs as the original artists played them. I searched the net over and could not find a few.

I thought this was a very well done book which provides a wide variety of styles: pop, rock & jazz. It includes transcriptions from some of the top guitarists, e.g. Johnny Smith, Chet Atkins, Les Paul, etc. A very good reference for ideas to add to your own style of...

playing. Highly recommended. However, it would have been nice to include a CD with it featuring at least some of the songs.
