    It's probably my lack of ability, but the songs all sound much the same. If you can play the Ma Carter pluck and scratch, you will have fun. I had more success with the "Jimmy Rodgers Collection."

    A wonderful book with easy to follow but quite rich tabs. Full of many of the Carter's favourites and also a little mine of relevant information concerning each of the songs. A joy to have.

    I remember Wild Wood Flower, my first guitar - a Gibson – and practicing the song for my music teacher. The song afforded harmony in my youth, and memories as an adult. My older brother asked me if I still played Wild Wood Flower on my guitar, and my response was no...

    . I have been playing classical guitar for the past 15 years, neglecting my past as a country boy, and my roots of our Colorado ranch land. I tuned my guitar as instructed in The Carter Family: The Carter Family Collection, drawn back into my youth, and enjoyed playing the music. The music book is great fun.
