This is a fun one-piano, four-hands duet arrangement of Edmund L. Gruber's familiar patriotic march, also known as the official song of the United States Army when used with the lyrics for "The Army Goes Rolling Along." Both PRIMO and SECONDO carry the melody at times making this piece equally enjoyable for both players while adding interest for the listeners. This piece is an excellent choice for recitals or performances to encourage the patriotic spirit around national holidays or any time of year to pay tribute to veterans and other heroes of American history. The purchase price includes the 6 page combined score with PRIMO and SECONDO parts on each page plus the alternate format with the PRIMO and SECONDO parts on separate pages (3 pages each). Duration 2:45 with the repeat.
This arrangement is one of five in a collection of patriotic piano duets for 1 piano, 4 hands. Other titles in the "Patriotic Tributes" collection include: Anchors Aweigh, The Marines' Hymn, The Star Spangled Banner, and The Yankee Doodle Boy.
