This young man in the past year has broken his foot and his left index finger on his left hand. As a result he was not able to play this piece in the student recital. However, the musical story includes a piece that moves throughout in Perpetual Motion. In addition it has numerous glissandi and shifts into 3rd position, all highlighting what he does on his bike. This piece is great for intermediate violinist who are just getting involved with 3rd position. A great motivator of a piece.
