    I would highly recomend this book for the intermediate to advanced pianist! Good selection of music by various composers. I really am enjoying going through and learning to play songs that I have wanted to learn for a long time!

    Great selection of pieces with many loved classics. My kids love it. I would say the pieces range from grade 4-5 mostly (Trinity or Royal Schools).

    This collection is fun to just play through page by page. But exhausting...it has a huge number of familiar pieces. Don't get started until you have a couple of hours.

  • May 28, 2012 Careful, some transpcribed pieces

    I purchased this book for my motivated intermediate daughter. Her enthusiasium was dashed after she looked at some of the pieces with her piano teacher, who explained to me that several of the pieces were orchestra pieces transcribed for piano, so they are very advanced. After years in music, he...

    would have to take his time and study the pieces before playing them! I was not happy about that. There are some other pieces in the book that were truly written for piano that are for intermediate or beginniner-intermediate that are appropriate.
