This book is great for EARLY-intermediate players. The arrangements are very tunefull for the skill level and the songs I've played were in the the right key. My favorite is "Here There & Everywhere" which I play as is even though I can play a more advanced arrangement. They...

are a good way to get started with the Beatles, learning the basic melodies and chords before trying or putting together a more advanced arrangement. Also, before each piece a short lesson and performance note is included which makes this book great for self-study. Lyrics are included on a separate page. I did take away a star, since the scores do not include chord symbols, of course you can always add them yourself and improvise. My son even likes the book. There is also a Vol 2 available.
