    Difficulty Level:

The transcriptions are a nicely done. A good base for further arranging. If you want to play the song as they are, you have to copy the parts yourself by hand of computer. It takes some time but that’s fare according to the price of the book.

    Difficulty Level:
  • December 21, 2000 Just like the recordings! FABULOUS!

I haven't played all the songs all the way through, but looking at them and listening to Spyro Gyra's recordings they are true- to-the-album 'Dean-On' arrangements. This is perfect for the small jazz band that wants some great ready-to-play tunes! I'm a...

guitarist and I found the Guitar parts great! (They usually suffer in these small band arrangements) I love it! Even the Conga's and drum parts are written out for you. No guess work, just room for feel. I'm a very satisfied customer. And it's "cost-effective" too! In the old days just ONE arrangement would cost the price of these 8 different tunes! WOW! I'm looking for new sox since mine were KNOCKED OFF! I can't wait to play them all
