    As an introduction to one of the most important members of Les Six, it is useful. Those new to Milhaud may be put off by the near atonality of some of the pieces (in Printemps, for example), while those who already like him will probably want the complete Saudades do...

    Brasil and Le Boeuf sur le Toit rather than only excerpts. Clear, easily-read edition.

    These pieces are wonderfully modern and interesting without being too dissonant or difficult to read. Really enjoying them.
