The song was written for an earlier draft of the movie script several years before, but was retained for the 1967 release we all know and love. This version is arranged as a duet for one Violin and one Cello.
Musicians at an intermediate level will find this a fun addition to formal and informal concert performances, with both parts enjoying melodic interest. The overall performance time is around two minutes, depending on tempo. The short audio sample is from the Clarinet and Alto Saxophone duet while the full length youtube video is the Clarinet version.
