    Just starting to teach piano and thought I'd pull this out for my students. I used Rothman's book several years ago and it helped my rhythm skills tremendously. It has 80 pages of rythms, starting with quarter notes and rests and progressing to fairly complex rhythms. I typically...

    clap the rythms, but you could also speak the beats, sing a pitch in time, do scales to the rythm, or a multitude of other activities. This book is a must for your music library!
