Published by James Haynor (A0.782253).PTX vocal percussionist Kevin Olusola describes "Take Me Home" as a Boyz II Men-meets-Toto song: "I was thinking, oh how do you write a song that kind of combines both of what they do?" He brought the idea to Kirsten Maldonado, the group's soprano, and with the help of singer-songwriter Audra Mae. "We just wanted it to be five-part harmony, really simple; just an easy melody that people could understand," he explains.
