A matter of personal preference. Not good for morning worship but ok for home.

I love the other Carol Tornquitst Sunday Morning Blends volume that I have. I didn't think she picked very pretty melodies this time around.

  • February 16, 2007 Beautiful hymns and praise songs

Sunday Morning Blend 3 is a wonderful mix of old hymns with newer praise pieces. The selections require some practice but are not burdensome. The transitions within each piece are smooth and well-arranged.

I have all three of the Sunday morning blend books. Each one just gets better. Carol does a wonderful job blending some of the newer contemporary with traditional hymns in this one. Her arrangements are great solos for offertories, communion, funerals, etc. They are a wonderful addition to the church...

service that is reaching a number of generations in one service. Some of the arrangements are easy listening while others are quite bold in their sound. I can't wait for Volume 4!
