In this compilation all recordings of the symphonic poems by Richard Strauss are combined with the Frankfurt Opera and Museum Orchestra under the General Music Director Sebastian Weigle. The orchestra has been awarded several times by the "Opernwelt" as Orchestra of the Year. Sebastian Weigle has been General Music Director since 2008/09.
