Composed by Franz Schubert. Arranged by Theobald Böhm, David Warin Solomons. Classical,Romantic Period. 10 pages. David Warin Solomons #443293. Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.576848).

Theobald Böhm (1794-1881) made a brilliant arrangement of Schubert's Serenade (Ständchen - "Leise flehen meine Lieder") for concert flute and piano (in D minor). This version is based on my original setting of the song for melody instrument and guitar (in A minor) but is extended in line with the Böhm arrangement, allowing the violin to blossom into lyrical variations of the melody. I have followed much of Böhm's breathing for the violin bowing but I have made a few changes to allow for upbow staccato technique. The pdf file contains score and parts. The sound sample is an electronic preview.
