"I Wish" is one of Stevie Wonder's most energetic singles. The song reflects on his childhood in the 1950s and 60s. The song is heavily referenced in Happy Feet and Animal Kingdom: Let's Go Ape, and is also used in the opening of Cheaper By The Dozen 2. Chris Tucker used "I Wish" as the introduction to his first full-length comedy special "Chris Tucker Live", and Will Smith sampled it for his song Wild Wild West.
