I play guitar, bass, and banjo - - and am learning fiddle and mandolin. I've found this book a *super* aid to improving my playing. It's also lots of fun, so I practice longer and more often!

Got the "Workout" a few weeks ago and went to work seriously on "Whiskey Before Breakfast." We played this past weekend and our mandolin player was speechless when I took the solo on my guitar and made it all the way through. The look on his face made it all...

worth it! Only drawbacks I've found so far are: 1) No tabs, and 2) Cherokee Shuffle is in D rather than A. All in all, the "Workout" is well worth the price. Just be sure to practice, practice, and practice some more! Remember, there ain't no real Wizard of Oz!
