The arrangements are nice and not too difficult to learn. My 7th Grader can play most of them already. Many of the songs are combos (more than one song). I rated it 4 stars because of that. I wish they would have written the songs by themselves and maybe have...

an optional transition to another song.

I bought this book for a group of high-school sax players I have in my church. They've really enjoyed the music and it's been nice to hear the saxes used in worship. These are not very difficult and the kids learned them quickly.

I have a seven piece ensemble at church. These arrangements can't be beat. For more check out the Volume two series and also the "Sounds of Christmas" set from the same composors. You won't loose interest in this music. All books of this series are fun, varied, challenging...

, and syncopated to the max! You've got to try them with a piano and several horns! Stan Pethel did himself proud!
