There are 16 chords in this version of Grapefruit-Juicy Fruit. Cheeseburger in Paradise calls for notes played at the 17th fret. I couldn't follow the book even on the songs I already knew how to play. These are not arrangements for casual tab-reading players. It might be...

useful for serious players that can read music. It is only useful to me for clarifying lyrics. The book and the album have some of his most popular songs so I really wanted to learn them, but it won't be from this book.

  • July 31, 2001 Play Just Like Buffet Does!

Learn a G & A % D and you can play everything he ever wrote! (If there is another chord in the song you can bet he had help from someone!)

  • June 29, 2000 Songs you should know by heart

These songs are great for acoustic guitar sing-a-longs. Personally, I find "Let's get drunk" mildly offensive, but most of friends think it is a laff-riot. Everyone loves "Margaritaville".
